In line with modern reappraisals of delirium that seek to bridge clinical practice and neurophysiology, this 1-hour webinar will explore the neurology of delirium from neurons to brain networks. It’s delirium from a neurologist’s perspective. Neuro-hospitalist Dr. LaHue from the University of California San Francisco will review the neuroanatomic correlates of delirium along with common delirium risk factors and precipitants. She will also explore the relationship between certain types of delirium neurophysiology and long-term sequelae. Neuro-intensivist Dr. Rabinstein from the Mayo Clinic will moderate a brief Q&A session following Dr. LaHue’s presentation.
